No harm ever done in a good old-fashioned pat on the back. This year we are proud be be a part of Print's Regional Design Annual and FPO's very first award series and publication (due to be released this month).
In FPO (For Print Only): Exhibition catalog for Steve Roden: when words become forms (Pomona College Museum of Art) and brochure for CCF's L.A. Makes Art.
In Print Regional Design Annual: Identity redesign for Pomona College Museum of Art.

Kudos
Bert-Co Industries, a printer with amazing capabilities for creating packaging, has been recognized by their peers this month at the
2009 PIASC Print Excellence Awards for a number of projects including two that were designed and illustrated here at DGS.
The Bert-Co Holiday Pop-Up Portfolio was recognized in the categories Best of Cards, Best of Publishing Techniques and received an Award of Excellence.
The Bert-Co Sustainability Campaign was also recognized with an Award of Excellence.
Print Magazine awards
DGS was awarded 3 times in Print Magazine's 2008 Regional Design Annual! The projects recognized included the book cover for Fritz Haeg's Edible Estates: Attack on the Front Lawn, Machine Project's membership package, and the book cover and packaging for Lize Mogel's An Atlas of Radical Cartography.
Our Name (and our work) in Print
Ever wonder what the heck people mean by "award-winning design"? We found out the fun way when two of our book designs made into Print magazine's Regional Design Annual for 2007. The Fair Exchange catalogue and The Alchemy of Comedy. . .Stupid by Edgar Arceneaux both grace the pages of this esteemed design publication. We are so thrilled!
